The goal of the Sustainability Management Office is to educate and inform the environmental impact of any development within the City of Jacksonville. Interning with them allowed me to gain insights into local politics by planning Earth Day 2024, and among other things. With the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board, the project was an activity event planning Earth Day 2024 in Jacksonville. These activities were conducted throughout the week instead of an individual day to reach individuals further. While the project has not been yet completed, we are determined to reach our goals of educating individuals.
